Your idea already exists. Spoiler: it's the best news you could get.
When what you want to build already exists, we don't leave you empty-handed. We help you integrate it, configure it and make it work within your operation.
There's a conversation no development studio wants to have. Because it means telling the client no.
The client arrives with an idea. They explained it over three calls, sketched it on a napkin, already thought of the name. They want to build something. And what they want to build, almost always, already exists.
The easy reaction is to stay quiet and send a quote. The right reaction is to say it.
What happens when you build something that already exists
The first few months go well. The client is excited, the team delivers, the product takes shape. But when the real comparison arrives, when someone on the team starts using the product and compares it with what already exists in the market, the friction shows up.
"Why doesn't it have this?" Because it was never considered. "Why does it take so long?" Because it was built from scratch with no dedicated infrastructure. "And the mobile app?" It wasn't in the scope.
Mature tools have years of feedback from real users. The edge cases are already solved. Building from scratch isn't competing with that; it's starting out behind.
What we do when something better exists
Telling you that something already exists doesn't leave you empty-handed. It's the starting point for different work: making that tool work well within your operation.
That includes the initial configuration, customization within what the platform allows, integrations with the systems you already use, training the team and, when needed, meetings with the tool's vendors to resolve what doesn't resolve on its own.
The budget that was going to development now goes to doing exactly that: making the solution actually work in your business, not exist in theory.
And if you still want to build something of your own?
We get it. There are valid reasons to want full control: sensitive data, very specific business logic, brand differentiation, integrations that don't exist in any product on the market.
In that case we build it. But before starting, we do a brief feasibility analysis that comes alongside the quote: what building it involves, what alternatives exist, what the risks of a custom build are and why in this case it makes sense anyway. That way you make the decision with real information, not with a number and blind faith.
If you have an idea and don't know whether something already exists that solves it, we can do that evaluation together. Free, before committing to anything.
